Issue: Unable to RDP to windows 2016 server (server01) using an svc_account1 and password with Rocket Remote Desktop 2025 (X64) - Patch 4 Version 18.0.8713.1. Same issue / error comes with ASG-RemoteDeskTop 2018 version.
I'm able to RDP to the same server (server01) and same account (svc_account1) using ASG-RemoteDeskTop 2016 version
Error: "The remote computer 'server01' returned an RDP portocol error (Return code: 4359).

Return code 4359
The system administrator has limited the computers you can log on with. Try logging on at a different computer. If the problem continues, contact your system administrator or technical support.

I know this is not permission issue, same server I'm able to connect using ASG-RemoteDeskTop 2016 version OR directly using mstsc too. It is just that Rocket Remote Desktop version not working.

Hi,
Try to create a new connection with default settings instead of inheriting to see any change in connection settings which is blocking.
Thank You,

I know it works with different version of ASG and mstsc , can you check the connection for different servers from RRD with the same svc account and see if it works ?
Are you using Restricted admin mode ? Check Session limits
If nothing seems to be out of ordinary, you might need to check logs in server side
Event Viewer → Applications and Services Logs → Microsoft → Windows → TerminalServices
Check these logs:
TerminalServices-RemoteConnectionManager
TerminalServices-LocalSessionManager
Security log
Look for:
Logon failure reason
Substatus codes
Policy restrictions
Thank You,
Pavan
